My goal for Wearing Change is to encourage more people to help those in need by making it simple, stylish, social and backing it with our promise.
The Simple
All you have to do is buy a shirt, something you already normally do.
The Stylish
Because the point of the shirt is to raise awareness they need to pop. We design them to be notice in a crowd. Eventually, when the community and site are big enough, we will have you design and vote for what causes to support and what shirts to make.
The Social
The whole point of Wearing Change is to get the word out and get money to those in need. By making a shirt the vehicle of change we make it easy to talk about it. Your friends, coworkers, strangers, someone cute at a club; will see the shirt and ask you about it. Then you get to show them how much you care and know about those in need. If someone already knows about Wearing Change then it will be all the easier to talk to them and maybe make a new friend.
Our Promise
This company was created not to make money but to help make the world a better place. For every shirt we sell we donate $8 to a charity that helps a cause we’re supporting. In some cases that’s more than half our profits and more then not it will be closer to 80% or 90%. We want to prove that a business can be successful without Greed being its driving force.
